Bottle Gourd Gravy (Sorakaya Pulusu) (Anapakaya Pulusu)


Ingredients :

Bottle Gourd - 1(take upper layer and cut into pieces as you wish)

Onions - 2

Green Chillies - 6

Red Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 tbl spoon

Turmeric Powder - Pinch

Salt - To taste

Oil - 4 tbl spoon

Tarmarind - lemon size(soak in water)

Lavang - 2

Jeera - 1/2 tbl spoon

Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbl spoon

Procedure :

1.Grind jeera and lavang.Now add in that chopped onions and grind it.

2.Take pan add oil and heat it.Now add in that grinded onion paste,green chillies and fry it for sometime.Then add ginger garlic paste and fry it.

3.Now add Bottlegourd pieces and fry it.Then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt and mix it.

4.Then add soaked tarmarind water and boil until bottlegourd boiled.

5.Garnish with coriander leaves.

6.Serve bottle gourd gravy(sorakaya pulusu) with hot rice.

Lady Finger Gravy (Bendakaaya Pulusu)


Ingredients :

1.Lady fingers - 15(cut lady fingers like this)


2.Onions - 4 (small)

3.Green chillies - 4

4.Tomatos - 2 (small)

5.Tarmarind - 1/2 lemon size

6.Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 to 1 tbl spoon

7.Turmeric Powder - pinch

8.Salt - to taste

9.Sugar - 1/4 tbl spoon

10.Oil - 3 tbl spoons

Procedure :


1.Take Pan and add lady finger pieces,turmeric powder - pinch and salt - 1/4 tbl spoon and fry for sometime.


2.Until that sticky goes (it means it will stick for pan.check the picture).


3.Remove fried lady fingers from pan and wash that pan.


4.Now take pan add oil and heat it.Now add onion pieces,green chillies and fry it.


5.Add fried lady fingers,red chilli powder,salt and fry it.Now add tomato pieces and fry it.


7.Add tamarind waterand little water also.Now boil for sometime.Until lady finger boils.

Fish Gravy


Ingredients :

Fish Pieces - 4

Tamarind - 1/2 lemon size
(Soak in water)

Cumin Seeds - 1 tbl spoon

Lavang - 4

Elachi - 3

Ginger - small piece

Garlic - 1/2

Small Onions - 2

Green Chillies - 4

Red Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 tbl spoon

Turmeric Powder

Salt

Corainder leaves

Process :

1. First jeera,lavang,elachi,ginger,garlic grind it.Then add onion pieces in that and grind it.

2. Take pan add oil and heat it. Now add green chillies and grinded onion paste and fry it well until it turns brown.

3. Now add redchilli powder,turmeric powder,salt and fry for sometime.

4. Now add fish pieces and fry it.Now add tamarind paste and water and boil the curry until the fish boils.

5 . Then Garnish with corainder leaves and serve with hot rice.

Egg Sweet Potato Curry


Ingredients :

Eggs - 2 ( boiled )

Sweet Potato - 2 ( cut it to round slices )

Onions - 2 ( chopped )

Green chilies - 5

Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 to 1 tbl spoon

Turmeric Powder

Salt - to taste

Sugar - 1/2 tbl spoon

tamarind - 1/2 lemon size ( soak in water )

Oil - 5 tbl spoons

Process :

1. Take Pan add oil 2 tbl spoons and heat it. Now add turmeric powder, eggs. Fry them and take it out.

2. Now in that Pan add 3 tbl spoons Oil and add onion pieces, green chillies and fry it well.

3. Now add red chilli powder, salt and mix it.

4. Take tamarind paste and add in that. And add some water, sugar and boil until sweet potato boils.

Potato Gravy for Rice


Ingredients :

Baby Potatos - 6(Boiled)

Onions - 2

Green Chillies - 4

Lavang - 2

Elachi - 1

Red Chilli Powder - 1 to 1 1/2 tbl spoon


Turmeric Powder - Pinch

Salt - to taste

Tarmarind - lemon size(soak in water)

Oil - 3 to 4 tbl spoons

Procedure :

1.Grind Lavang, Elachi. And then add onion pieces and grind it.

2.Take Pan and heat oil and add onion paste, green chillies fry it well.

3.Now add potatos and fry it for 5mins. And add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt fry it well.

4.Now add tamarind paste and add some water and boil for sometime.

5.Now serve potato gravy with rice.
