Lemon Juice


Ingredients :

Lemon - 1

Sugar - 6 tbl sppons
(if we want we can add half sugar and half honey)

Salt - 1/2 tbl spoon

Elachi - 1

Procedure :

1. Cut lemon and take juice.Now add in that suagr,salt,water and mix it.

2.Now crush elachi and add it in lemon juice and mix it well.

3.Then filter that lemon juice and have it.

Tomato Pickle




Ingredients:

Tomatos - 5 (Large) (chopped)

Red Chilli Powder - 2 tbl spoons

Lavang - 2

Cinnamon - 3

Salt - to taste


Oil - 3 tbl spoons


Procedure :

1.Take pan add oil and heat it.In that add lavang,cinnamon fry it.

2.Now add chopped tomatos,red chilli powder and salt mix it
well.Fry them until oil separates.

3.Have it with rice or dosas or idlis.

(We have to keep this in fridge.Whenever we want we can use it.)

Bitter Gourd Fry

Ingredients:

Bitter gourd - 2 (finely chopped)

Onion - 1 (finely chopped)

Red chilli powder - 1/2 to 1 tbsp

Jaggery - A little

Turmeric Powder - pinch

Curry leaves -3

Red Chillies - 1

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Oil - 2 tbsp

Salt - to taste


Procedure :

1.Heat oil in a frying pan.

2.Add mustard seeds,red chillies,curry leaves fry them. Then add chopped onions and fry till brown.

3.Now add the chopped bitter gourd and stir for sometime.

4.Add chilli powder,salt and turmeric powder and fry it.

5.Then add jaggery and keep the pan closed.

6.Now fry until bitter gourd fried well.

Chikidukaaya Curry


Ingredients:

Chikidukaaya - 1Cup (250 gms)

Onion -3 (chopped)

Green Chillies - 3

Tomato - 1 (chopped)

Red Chilli Powder - 1/4 to 1/2 tbl spoon

Salt - to taste

Turmeric Powder - pinch

Oil -3 tbl spoons

Procedure :

1.Take Pan add oil and heat it.In that add chopped onions and green chillies and fry it well.


2.Now add chikidukaaya in that and fry it well until that raw smell goes.


3.Then add chopped tomato and fry it.


4.Now add red chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder and mix it well.


5.Then add water in that and boil for sometime until chikidukaaya cooks.


6.Serve chikidukaaya curry with hot rice.
